En noviembre de 2009, se organizó el Workshop Temporary City Istanbul, donde equipos de varias universidades que trabajábamos en el >>proyecto<< nos desplazamos hasta el lugar para trabajar con arquitectos de la Universidad de Estambul y analizar el lugar de primera mano. El proyecto consistía en realizar una instalación efímera en los astilleros de Haliç con motivo de la celebración de eventos parar Estambul como sede Cultural Europea 2010. Fue toda una experiencia. Disfrutamos de la amabilidad y hospitalidad de nuestros anfitriones turcos, que se portaron espectacularmente bien con nosotros. Además visitamos la ciudad y sus mezquitas y navegamos por el mar Negro. Una ciudad para volver, sin dudarlo. Estambul es realmente inspiradora. Os dejo algunas imágenes.

In November 2009, the Temporary City Workshop Istanbul, where teams from several universities working on the project that drove us to the place to work with architects from the University of Istanbul and analyze firsthand the place was organized. The >>project<< was to make an ephemeral installation in Haliç shipyard to mark the event for Istanbul to host 2010 European Cultural. It was quite an experience. We enjoyed the friendliness and hospitality of our Turkish hosts, who behaved spectacularly well with us. We also visit the city and its mosques and navigate the Black Sea.
